Inspired by Bali and its time-honored jewelry-making traditions, John Hardy is dedicated to creating artisan handcrafted jewelry using sustainable business practices. After a pivot to an immersive digital-first strategy and the relaunch of JohnHardy.com, I was brought on as a senior copywriter in 2016. For two years, I worked closely with the Global VP of Digital to develop and implement a new brand voice that positioned each piece of jewelry as wearable art—powerful, dramatic, and inspiring. To extend the brand’s exquisite store experience into its luxurious digital space, I crafted copy that balanced John Hardy’s legacy with its modern evolution. My work included email campaigns corresponding to the weekly cadence and larger annual concepts, product descriptions, blog posts, conceptual decks, client care copy, and a smattering of social media copy for @johnhardyjewelry.
