I help startups, tech companies, and world-class brands tell stories that build relationships across commerce and culture. Clients include Airbnb, Etsy, Vimeo, Medium, Meow Wolf, Noom, OpenX, WeWork, Meetup, DirecTV, and Bloomingdale's.
I began my career in journalism, and have written and edited stories about literature, culture, and fashion for the New Yorker, Billboard, the Boston Globe, i-D, InStyle, the Los Angeles Review of Books, New York, the New York Times, and Teen Vogue, among other places. Highlights include profiling the publisher of a magazine about female drummers, talking to Susan Orlean about why she loves gardening as a method of procrastination, and finding solace in Emily Dickinson's poetry.
I have also had the pleasure of interviewing an impressive range of writers, artists, and performers, from big names like Kristen Stewart, Fiona Apple, Michelle Dockery, and Jeffrey Eugenides to independent makers running their own businesses on Etsy.
I believe that words matter, and am passionate about finding the right ones to evoke a creative vision.
